- HISD SAT scores fell this year, but ACT scores rose a bit, according to a Houston Chronicle2 story about college preparation exams. They say it’s “mixed results,” and are right. We need better results than that.
- Houston gasoline price still cheapest in Texas at $3.44 a gallon, says the Houston Business Journal
- Rice University raised more than $100 million in 2008, a historic high, says the Houston Business Journal
