Residents to vote on $249.6 million bond issue, candidates for posts 1, 2, 8
— reported by the Houston Chronicle
Residents in the North Harris Montgomery Community College District will decide two issues on May 13.
First, they will vote on a $249.6 million bond issue that, if approved, would pay for major renovations on each of the five campuses during the next five or so years.
Then, they will elect three candidates to fill Positions 1, 2 and 8 on the board, determining the makeup of the panel that will lead the district for the next few years.
