The Blog Herald‘s Duncan has been guestblogging on problogger, where he recently posted “Bloggers Block” in which he writes:
…sharing advice or linking to others is sometimes related to mood or inspiration, some days I can be inspired with ideas, others I just ain’t…
A truer statement couldn’t be made about writing in general. I recently posted about having writer’s block myself, which was affecting my day job. One of the reasons I began blogging regularly was to exercise my writing skills, which I’m hoping is going to lead to improved creativity for my professional life.
So far, that hasn’t happened. However, blogging has become easier. I do think I’m getting in touch with my writing voice, which I had been suppressing as part of corporate writing.
