The New York Times is accepting nominations for the New York Times Librarian Awards until September 2, 2005.
Through this award, the New York Times will recognize 27 public librarians from across the country who provide outstanding community service on a consistent basis.
Nominations come from customers. Winners will be selected by committee and announced in the Times in November 2005. Each winner will receive a prize of $2500 and a commemorative plaque.
