In September 2006 the most popular post on PasadenaBlvd.com was "Food for Tailgate Parties." In August 2006 the favorite was "Wedding Candle Centerpiece Ideas." This month's hot topic: "Winter Wedding Flowers."
I never know what my readers are going to find interesting from one month to the next. The newest hot topic article is from January. The other two are dated in 2005. But they're popular, and have remained so most of this year.
I never know what my readers are going to want to read, so I pick topics I find interesting. I pick topics that cover information that's important to me, or one of my friends, or to someone I know. Not very scientific, but it keeps thousands of readers coming back to my site regularly. I must be doing something right.
